From my earliest moments I have memories of Golden Retrievers, owned and bred by my father. The most beloved of all was Marco - Beauchasse Fanfare who gained his first CACIBs in Germany at the tender age of 19 months.
All my working life I longed to own and breed this wonderful race of dogs but my husband's army career and the constant moves made it impracticle. When my husband retired from the Army we bred 2 litters and then waited 10 years to start our own kennels in France.
As a tribute to the Beauchasse Kennel I decided to call my Kennel Beauchasseur.
We chose to start our lines with Tenfield Border Racer (with thanks to Kim Ellis) and Goldiemay Vision of Correze (with thanks to David and Sharon Brown). Voxane Tweed Lenisei joined us and later Chorale Symphony de la Lande d'Argos (with thanks to Laurie descourtis) After many months of waiting our kennel had the addition of Dewmist Sails of Satin (with thanks to Henric Frykstrand).
In 2007 and 2008 Fig (Tenfield Border Racer) won 6 CACs, RCACIB, 3 Best of Breeds and one very hot day in August was BEST IN SHOW. He has produced some lovely puppies who are winning in the Show Ring. Cosi too has had her share of winning and she was awarded a CACIB, CACs and Epreuve B in Working Qualifications. Jussi (Dewmist Sails of Satin) has recently got his Epreuve B and Very Good in Working Trials.
I am essentially a hobby breeder whose passion is to breed healthy happy dogs who fit in with family life and enjoy working. Puppies are available (usually one litter a year) but please do contact me to for advice and to reserve one. My extended family of puppies, to my delight, are constantly returning for short stays whilst their owners are on holiday and I have the pleasure of seeing them in the show ring.
Sadly my husband David died in March 2010. He loved the dogs and gave me such encouragement to realise my dream. He was happy to stay at home and look after them whilst I went to shows His standards were very high and we will try to live up to them. This site is dedicated to him.
